Difficulties joining online lobbies, very frustrating plz help

Cant connect to any type of online multiplayer lobby, not even host my own private. I connect to GTA:Online just fine so idk wat the issue is. Plz help, been going on almost a week now. Thank you for your support, Respectively, Cole Garrett.

Is there some knack to getting into online Lobbies???

I’m finding it incredibly frustrating, can be 40mins before I manage to actually join a race...the Online races shown rarely match the actual game status and getting into one is hit and miss. I either get dropped out or the game is already in progress so would have to Spectate a full 30mins...and then sometimes like SD connection.

It’s horrible?

Wondered if there was a knack to getting in???

Sadly, I’m afraid I’m done with this game, I uninstalled it at the weekend and will prob sell the Disc.

Shame cos this has been the best game to date in terms of promoting and ensuring ‘clean’ online racing.

However, two major issues for me (and given my limited gaming time availability) were:-

1/ The online Lobbies are a total random nightmare. Finding and getting into an online race could take 30mins of trying & failing.
Not helped by the poor lobby screen that didn’t reflect the real status of each race....meaning you try to join, wait through the long load time and discover the race had already started so you’d missed it and would need to spectate the entire race if you wanted to join the next stay? Rinse and repeat multiple times before finally getting into a game. Soooo frustrating!

2/ I had repeated issues with the game crashing/restarting every 2-3 races (a real PITA when added to the first issue).
Not sure if this was due to me running on a standard Xbox One, running off Disc or from attempting mainly online races?
I’d tried a full delete/re-install & tried both internal & external hard drive locations but made no difference.
No other game does this, not even PUBG which is still under development and known to have such issues.

Afraid I’ve moved on so I can actually ‘enjoy’ my gaming time rather than leaving me frustrated.
