    Different permissions on different consoles


    Trying to help my daughter (19) log into our family Minecraft game. She got a new Xbox for Christmas. It says she doesn’t have permission to play multiplayer. She can use her account to log in on her phone or our old console and she can play multiplayer. All her settings are open. She is not part of a family account.

    Why would the new xbox not let her play multiplayer?

    In playing an Online Multiplayer game an Xbox Live Gold subscription is required, kindly check if she has one by following the steps below:

    Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, and then select System > Settings > Account > Subscriptions.

    Remember ONLY Gold profiles get the discounts.

    So if his account is silver then it wont have the discount and

    I think its the same for all the accounts in a gold family pack

    except for the main account.
