Different gamertag on xbox than on online Xbox Live account

Hi,

I recently wanted to buy an online gold sub, and when I logged into my account online with my Microsoft account email, I came up with this account. On my xbox, the gamertag is ClickedMilk64 , which I have always used since I got the xbox 360 like 3 years
ago. It is associated with a gmail email, which I am pretty sure I have linked to my microsoft live email. How can i get rid of this gamertag and switch it to the gamertag on my xbox with all my downloads/score?

Gamertag on XBOX 360 is different than XBOX Live - both signed in with same WLID.

I am logged into XBOX Live on my XBOX 360, with my Windows Live ID. My Gamertag shows as one name, but when I go online, on my PC, to XBOX Live and sign in with the same WLID, it shows a different Gamertag. My account info seems to be the same (email, name,
etc...), but my points and games played, etc... are different (the one on my PC shows as zero activity).

How do I get both my Live account on the console and my Live account online to show the same gamertag? I want my online account to show the same gamertag as the one on my console. The one online is a random given gamertag.

The "FlouryThrone03" Gamertag you're seeing is an auto-generated gamertag that pops up when you log into an Xbox console/website with an email that does not currently have a Gamertag tied to it.

Based on what you've said, it looks like the most likely scenario is that your gmail email was never associated with an actual Microsoft Account. It sounds like you tied your ClickedMilk64 Gamertag with your gmail email, but never tied anything with your Microsoft
email. So, when you signed into Xbox.com with your Microsoft Account email, you auto-generated the Gamertag "FlouryThrone3".

It looks like your best option would be to head over to
xbox.com/forgot and see if you can use the tools there to recover the account information for your ClickedMilk64 account. Once you do that, you should be able to log into that account on Xbox.com and sign up for a Gold Membership. If (for whatever reason)
you can't get access to ClickedMilk64 by using the xbox.com/forgot site, your next best option will be to contact Phone Support and work with them to get your account information. I suggest using the Contact Us page to set up that support call. That will allow
you to skip waiting on hold and have them call you.
