Different Emails

I'm using my second account email to post this. 660 Gamer Points is what i will be going to from around 9000 if i have to switch accounts.

I am Lumie and I would love to assist you today. Please do not panic, it is scary, and it feels like you have no control, but it is not your fault. Accounts being compromised happen. There are steps in the way to prevent further damage. The Cyber Security space is huge so there is help out there.

If your credit card was assigned to the Microsoft account then please let your mother know of the issue. You should then tell her to contact her bank immediately to reduce the chances of fraud. Stay vigilant to look at any possible charges on the account. It may even be a good idea to ask the bank to change the details or get a new card if it is possible.

You may want to buy identity theft security systems like Norton, but this is not necessary. You can also find your government data breach protection services if they provide one, here is a helpful page for American citizens: [https://www.identitytheft.gov/Info-Lost-or-Stolen]

I would then strongly reccommend migrating all accounts that are linked to your compromised email address. You should try to detach them immediately, usually through the help of the support team of that services. Make sure to do this for Email addresses that may have the compromised account as their security option.

You should also change your passwords for your accounts - especially if they are the same. (Please do not let them be the same in the future.)

Then you can try to recover your account if you would like. Of course, your original email details are lost, so the first idea to find your email is to directly log into your account with your phone number.

If this does not work, you can try to look for email receipts on alternative accounts or find accounts you made be logged into on different services.

Once you have found the new form, you can recover the account using the Account Recovery Form: https://account.live.com/acsr]

Make sure to complete it in an area you would usually access your account from. It is important to be consistent with this form, you can complete the form twice a day everyday until your regain access to your account. Repeating this will increase your odds of recovery.

Is the email a third party email like yahoo or gmail or is it a Microsoft email like outlook or Hotmail. If it is third party you can change the account email at account.microsoft.com under your info Manage how you sign in to Microsoft. If it is a Microsoft
address and you change the email that email will disappear so do not change if you are using that email. Be very careful this cannot be reverted

same thing basically happened to me around the same time this comment was published. Its a quite long explanation, im sorry....

So a couple days ago i mustve mad a mircosoft account and had signed into it on the official minecraft site, net, whatever it is called, and i do not know of the email i had used to sign i. My problem is that when i bought minecraft, i didnt realize that i was still signed into the same account and had purchased it. I cannot play any of my minecraft due to it.
