Different email than hotmail

How do I configure my reward-account to use another email than hotmail since I've been playing on that and have all my progress there? Sure I can make another user with my hotmail account since progress doesnt start paying off before I join but then I will
have two accounts for myself on the box depending if I want to play further along in a game or if I would like to earn rewards on quests/missions. Would be much easier if I could just connect my current account to my hotmail-login since I've never used my
hotmail for playing.

Gamertag Problem

Im a hotmail user and an XBOX Live user with two different names. is different than my email name.

 

So, how many of you are 10 year Xbox Live gamers?

I started with the xboxlive beta with the headset and MotoGP disk, but I currently have a new different gamer tag due to my associated Hotmail account going inactive, due to not logging into email, and thus preventing me from renewing the live account. I had to create a new account while I went through the steps of recovery for the Hotmail address. Once recovered, I simply stayed with my new gamer tag... Now associated with the old Hotmail account. :-(
