Different currency exchange rates??? Conversion from USD to CLP

Hi,

I'm looking the recent sales and I am from Chile, here we use CLP and 1 dollar today = CLP 553

Can someone explain me how Xbox do the conversion from USD to CLP? I see diferents rate of conversion for different products.

Example:

Gow 3 in US: 4.99 USD

GOW 3 in Chile: $3.247 (rate: $650/dollar)

Gears of War 3

The Witcher 2 in Chile: $8.217 (rate: $830/dollar)

I can't understand this, they manipulate the prices in Chile?

I am having the same problem but it cannot be a currency conversion issue. Everything is in USD located in the US.

 

i add credit card. and I got message from my credit APP. it charged me for US1.5

i add a new credit card. how come i received a message from my bank APP

it says i have spent about US1.5 (it was in different currency, i just exchange to USD)

but i havent bought anything. and i checked my billing, nothing new has been purchased

why is that

 

there is no Exchange rate used by Microsoft store, the game Prices are set independently and vary by region
