    Differences between the Series X and Series S?


    I am interested in both of the consoles, but the series X has better specs, and a higher price. I don’t use physical copies of games, all digital, which is what I like about the S. What I like about the X is the superior and amazing specs. Is there any difference in gameplay between these two consoles, frame rates, refresh rates, and quality of life differences? Are loading times lightning fast?

    Does the seagate storage expansion card improve textures/graphics for xbox series s games like tekken 8?

    There are no discernable loading/texture streaming differences between internal storage and expansion cards.

    The reason why the textures are not as defined is because the Series S has less system RAM compared to the more powerful Series X. This is hardware limitation of the Series S hardware, not the storage.

    As two of you mentioned, cloud gaming is powered by Series X now, like I mentioned too.

    I still have the same question. Isn't there also quality difference in graphics between Series S and Series X? Like textures are more detailed and shadows are rendered better in Series X? Now if Series X is used on cloud gaming, isn't those improvements then on Series S too via streaming from cloud? Or are the Series S and Series X exactly the same graphics wise in general but Series S just has lower resolution?

    I understand that cloud gaming isn't 4K and there might be latency issues etc but that wasn't my question.
