Difference between Xbox 360 Wired Controller and Xbox 360 Wired Controller for Windows

Hi everyone,

So I was planning to buy an xbox controller for my pc and I have decided to get the wired version since it is cheaper than the wireless one and the benefits of owning a wireless controller does not really matter for me since I do not game on my bed, couch,
etc. Then, when i stepped into my local gaming store, I saw 2 different xbox controllers; 1 being
xbox wired controller and the other being
xbox wired controller for windows and the price difference was $10. So my question is, what is the difference between this 2 controllers? Is it just an additional set of discs for drivers? From my understanding,
one can actually buy the normal xbox wired controller and download the necessary drivers online right? As the store does not allow for exchange of goods, I would like to get this right first before I purchase the controller, lest I get the wrong one that is
incompatible with my pc.

Please help to enlighten me.

Original Wired Xbox 360 controller for PC?

Hey guys. I'm wondering if it's possible to use an original wired xbox 360 controller to play PC games.

I'm not talking about an official 'Wired xbox 360 controller for Windows', I'm talking about a wired controller that you may find in an xbox 360 bundle.

As far as i know there is no difference,i can't say100% for sure though.

I just use a normal xbox 360 controller on my pc.Yes,you can download the drivers for one online.
