    Difference between Windows 7 and Windows 10


    There was a problem in GTA 5 that caused stuttering and missing textures. Roads and Buildings have vanished whenever I am driving at high speeds. I fixed the problem tomorrow but unfortunately, windows 10 started hanging. So, I deactivated Dxtory and It still hangs. I could revert back to Windows 7 but my dad said no programs will work there except Word Excel.

    I really need an explanation. Is It safe to return to Windows 7 or not?

    I swear I did literally everything they asked. Turns out, gta 5 literally hangs I turned avast free antivirus and literally the game started to run faster but hangs. I have intel core i5 6402P 2.80 ghz and 8 GB RAM. I literally have gt 1030. I mean, what could possibly go wrong? I even tried it in minecraft and same problem persists. I resented my pc 3 times and it just comes back again. I mean, should I actually install windows 11 ?

    Bro, I literally did what you asked. I turned off antivirus, set all graphics to high and put MXAA to 4X. But, doesn't work. Guess, I have 2 options ; Either I could reset the pc, Or I could upgrade my pc to Windows 11 to fix this problem. What do you think ?

    If I stay in Windows 10, gta 5 will have problems in future since the game is bought and released in windows 7. Also, gta 5 has a lot of bugs like stuttering, missing textures that took 6 days to fix. All I had to do was change MSAA to 2X or 4X and disable dxtory and vertical sync. It seems to be fixed but gta 5 keeps hanging. If this happens, I had to switch to Windows 11. But I was wondering if performance and CPU usage affect ?

    Steam announced today they are dropping Support for windows seven and 8, so that should tell you. Windows seven and eight are no longer supported by microsoft

    You should report these problems to rockstar as they are the ones who can fix them
