Difference between 500GB and 1TB consoles

Op, I'd actually be getting the Elite bundle which comes out today over here! (06/11/2015). It has the 1tb hard drive, elite controller and new drive for faster install times or whatever.

 

I when I go the console. It only 500GB. it took more close to a whole year of owned the one. It being close to out of memory. And at the time I had like 41 games on the HDD when I finish my year one. I have a 8TB external HDD. And right now. I think
I still have 6.7TB lift on it. And I now owned 87 that minus the one I borrowed or when a trial that you could get achievements from. So I owned 87 XBOX ONE games. many of them are small games. I didn't got every big file size games on the one. But I
get that many by small games. I was able to cram that many games on the internal HDD. That my friends on LIVE couldn't believed it. But you think I making it up. Because you only get big file games. it just take some file size management until they add support.
And when they added supported. it took me to this year to need extra space for games.

 

I'm using an external 2TB passport drive for all my games and the xbox 360 games and apps will be sitting on the internal

 

Basically if you think 500gb is a good deal for the extra $50 then go for it, the decided would be which game you prefer...

Unless you like the game is bundled with whatever bundle you like, I think that the 500 GB is the better value because for a the price of a little bit extra money you can get a lot more extra storage space than 500 GBs

Also, when I eventually buy my 5 TB external HDD (I still have 217 GB in my 500 GB HDD), I am going to make the 500 GB HDD of the console just for OS updates and stuff LOL

Here in the UK there's some brilliant deals going for the 1TB console so always good to have the extra space.

I have the 1TB model now but to be honest the 500GB was still plenty for me. I know some people like to leave all their games installed so having more space is ideal.

But if your like me, never had more than 2 or 3 games being played at any one time. Have a decent broadband speed so any deleted games that I want to go back to in the future can easily/quickly be downloaded again then space isn't a priority then maybe go
for a smaller HDD and you might get a better deal on some games.

That's for all responses. I ordered the Tomb Raider 1TB bundle today. I had a old school 120GB 360 that I never came close to filling up, so 500Gb I think would have been enough for me but wasn't real fond of any of those game choices in the bundle. And
knew I'd buy the new Tomb Raider anyway so might as well nab it and the old one for free.

 

If you're only going to play a maximum of about 10 games over the whole generation then I'd go for the 1TB, but realistically you're going to need an external harddrive at some point anyway so I would also go for the 500GB console (the extra 500GB storage
in the 1TB version isn't really worth it IMHO).

 

I thought that Lofty as my BB is super quick, but truth is it doesn't work like that, I got invited to a few games at times when I didn't have games installed and it simply wasn't worth the hassle of installing a full game as by the time it as done the 30
to 40 minutes as to long and the moment was missed, either space was filled by another player or the sessions didn't happen. Far easier to have everything installed and ready to go after popping in a disc. Even just deciding to revisit a solo game was a pain
when an install was needed.
