$449 will get you a 1TB Call of Duty themed Xbox One with the Day Zero edition. I mean thats cool you get a bigger hard drive, and a game but the console is ugly.

How long should it take to get a response, it said 24 hours that's why I was thinking that they're not getting them. He said he didn't do anything.

I bought GTA V, and it was only $19.99, which was a good deal, however, when I went to pay, it didn't take my money, but downloaded the game anyways. I hope that I won't get banned, and I would like to legitimately pay for it. If a staff member could go
to my account, Lainez55, and fix this, I would appreciate it. I'm on an Xbox 360 console.

I think we will see larger HD consoles ( 2 and 3 TB) coming out on a regular basis, I think we'll also see the newer ones having faster drives, new CPU's (was it two years before we saw Jasper chips on 360?)

The external hard drive was a band aid for a bigger problem. The OS is on the internal and as the console evolves so will the OS which will get slower and slower without new hardware.

 

Ah looks are a matter of opinion.

 

And people complain about having to upgrade PCs all the time lol.

 

Yep both need to be upgraded and from the looks of things upgrading my PC now looks like a bargain.

 

While the difference probably isn't a lot, I imagine the price of a 1 TB HDD is cheaper now than it was a year ago. They can probably mass order the TB ones for the same price they were getting for the 500 GB last year.

It certainly does randver. Don't get me wrong guys I still am glad I got an Xbox one it just gets frustrating that I spen $600 on an Xbox (live in Australia) then fork out another $150 for a decent size hdd. So far $750! Will it stop. Or is it doomed to
go the way of the PC world?

 

On the upside...since Sata II is on the way out Microsoft should be able to get very good deals on old stock larger hard drives. Unfortunately they'd have to completely re-design the console to allow owners to easily upgrade their own consoles.

 

It's tuff to predict the future.

 

Like I said. I knew this was inevitable. It just is very soon. In all my years I've never seen a console get any sort of upgrade so quickly. Thin they are on the back foot trying to compete!

 

I'm with ya bro. Hindsight being 20/20 I should have waited. I thought there would be more games I like.

 

All irrelevant I think. Even if the internal was 1GB I would still run out of space eventually and be looking add a bigger External. Not worth worrying about.
