Didn't save my 360 games to the cloud...only to usb drive

I did not save my 360 games to the cloud only to a usb flash drive....Will I still be able to access the data from these games? Before I bought my One I did not do the research of saving the games to the cloud, and I only put them on usb drive, will the
one recognize the data and use it once the games are compatible?

Missing game data

The save data is stored separately on your consoles storage device, it doesn't get saved on your account. I'm afraid since you don't have your old console, your save games are gone. You'll keep the achievements, but to get the same progress in your games,
you'll have to play them again.

You can back your saves up to a USB flash drive and you can now save your games to the cloud, in case you lose them again.

I received the new guitar hero for xmas. The system said that i needed the gold package for storage space. So I bought it and the cloud only has 2 gb of space when I need 8gb. I feel like I am out 60$ for nothing. How can I remedy this problem?

The cloud will only store game saves. If the game is needing extra storage space for game data, you would need to add an Xbox 360 hard drive or either an external USB hard drive or flash drive.

Some games automatically saved your progress to their servers (for instance, Shadow Complex did this I think), but for most games the only way to transfer progress is for the save file to be on the cloud. One way you could do this is to borrow a friend's
Xbox 360 - plug in your USB drive, go into Storage settings and then manually upload them all to the cloud. You don't need the games installed to move the save file, you just need to be signed into your profile on that console.
