Didn't receive Skyrim DLC Hearthfire

Earlier today I bought the Skyrim Hearthfire DLC from
here. I'm completely confused at how I will receive it. I was given an email saying to go to the game library and check the extras tab, where it just says purchase by Hearthfire. How am I supposed to receive it?? I've checked everywhere. I'm assuming it
isn't going to arrive through mail as the email didn't indicate that at all but I am completely lost. I've spent a good part of my afternoon trying to figure this out. If you need anymore information, I'd be happy to give you it.

Hearthfire is part of Skyrim. They don't make individual forums just for DLC.

 

When you purchase content on the website it is queued to automatically download when you start up your console and connect to Live. Since this is a game add-on it will not show in your game library, but once it's downloaded you can access it in the game.

 

I relogged in and booted Skyrim and it told me it needed to update content or whatever, let it do that and checked the menu; now it has an 'add-ons' button! Nearly got excited when I hit it and told me I have no add-ons downloaded. Hit Y to go to the Marketplace
and just got told to purchase it. Advice? My gosh, I've never known anything to be so stressful.

 

Check your download history and try redownloading it from there -

"Game purchase history:

You haven't downloaded any content yet."

I'm going to guess I need to buy it again :/. Is there anything I can do with the email to prove I bought it but don't have it yet?

 

Ok, I've tried everything I've been advised to, everything google says... it's like I never bought it-- which I have, I have the email as proof. Not to mention this place is crazy to navigate. I have just wasted £3 on something that I never received. I've
given it all day, so it can't be "it takes a while to process". I've checked my download queue, says it's empty. I've relogged xbox live and checked my library + done all the updates required. Absolutely nothing. I desperately need some advice.

 

Double check Sign in to your Microsoft account to make sure it shows the transaction as going through. If it does, you'll need to contact support so they can help you get it.
