Didn't receive preview app link?

Hello folks,

I was asked to post here by Xbox Support live chat who've been helping me with this issue. I've been invited to the Xbox One Preview Program by some of my friends. I've had three of them invite me so far - the first invite was nearly 2 weeks ago now - but
I haven't received a message on the Xbox One with a link to download the Preview app, as the FAQ page states should happen shortly after getting invited.

I realise it normally takes a few days for approval to go through, but I assume 13 days should be long enough for this to have gone through? The advisor I spoke to on support chat viewed my account using the verifyme.microsoft.com system, and confirmed that
they could see the invites that my account had received to the program.

They have asked me to try being invited again, which I'm in the process of, but since I have four invites already (three friends, one of whom invited me twice after I mentioned I hadn't received a Preview app link), I'm not sure this will work.

Could anyone advise on if there is a way to get my account approved, since it's been confirmed by support that I have indeed been invited?

Accidentally Deleted Xbox One Preview Program Message! No App found!

I accidentally deleted the Xbox One Preview Program Message, and didn't sign up yet.

Will I receive this message again, because I want to sign up for the program.

Also, I can't find the Preview Dashboard App anywhere.

Hi Pangonyte! Unfortunately, the answer to your question isn't as cut-and-dried as it may seem. When friends send an invite, all that does is submit your name to Microsoft as being "recommended" for the program (I actually wish it said "Recommend a friend"
instead of "Invite," because it doesn't actually send the invitation to the friend.) When MS receives a recommendation, they do evaluate the account to make sure you are in good standing (no console enforcement actions or suspensions, good reputation, etc.)
BUT, that doesn't automatically guarantee you an invite.

Unfortunately, there isn't a set schedule for when the invites go out, AND, there are no guarantees to receiving an invite. The best thing to do at this point is just hang in there and be patient, because, more likely than not, you will receive an invite,
but there's no way to know for sure. It also never hurts to have someone re-invite you down the line, because if MS isn't looking for new preview members now, they may be then. Sorry I couldn't give you a more positive response!

Hi there,

there is no link to download the preview app, the Xbox 360 preview program does not have an invitation option and does not require a preview app download.

If you mean the Xbox One preview then please post in the Xbox One forum section, but be aware that an invitation (which can be done by friends in the preview) will not guarantee you will be accepted to the program. Once accepted you will receive a Xbox Live
Message with a code to download the preview app there is no external link.

Not everyone is accepted into the preview program, as such if you never received a message with the acceptance and app there is a chance you were not selected for this. Now if you've been selected and you've deleted the Xbox Live service message with
the link to download the Xbox Preview Dashboard app or it expired, please post in the private Xbox One preview forum.

If you receive "Group not found" on the link above please reply to this thread and a moderator review your account and give you appropriate forum permissions. Usually they get to these within a couple of days.
