Didn't realise you can get xbox one games now on xbox360 for future

Everyone probably knows this but i didn't find out till recently that you can get the free xbox one gamesyou get with gold membership now while you got an xbox360 to save for when you get xbox one thats awesome i wish i knew earlier i missed the assassin
creed game which i would of wanted i got it on xbox360 though so i can prob still play it i dont know how it works but u can save them and it doesn't seem to take memory.

360 Games

Unlike you, I have some favorite Xbox360 games that I'll keep and play forever. How can Xbox One claim to consolidate your home entertainment setup if you are required to have an Xbox One for future games AND an Xbox360 for your existing collection of games?

Wireless Bluetooth Xbox gaming audio headset, earphones or headphones - are Microsoft releasing any hardware like this soon?

I didn't realise this, but yes you are correct on further reading I realise now that Xbox, even Xbox One X uses a proprietary wireless technology - which in my opinion creates AMAZING audio via the gamepad and wired earphones.

Shame though, since it would be awesome to have some wireless earphones to use on games.

 

You're not actually saving them, you're just acquiring the license to download/play them when you get a Xbox One.

I should also mention, that if your Gold subscription ever lapses, you won't have access to these games anymore. (This is a different version of the GwG policy than on the 360.)

 

On a related note, is there a place to see all of the games you've reserved for future X1 play?

 

I haven't seen anything that would show that yet, but it would be nice. Even your download history lists Xbox One titles as "Unknown Title" which is frustrating.

 

I don't know where to see download history either. I see a "purchase history" but it doesn't show GWG at all. I just have a feeling that some day two years from now, when I get an X1 none of these titles will actually be available to me.

 

I've only done it once myself and it didn't work. Hopefully it'll end up working correctly for you.

 

Thats why I refuse to get a xbox one due to them being a indian giver for GWG for xbox one. Its really sad that companys are being greedy. If the games are free then you cant take them back if your gold expires thats false advertisement.

 

it was advertised on the xbox one that it is a free rental and if your gold expires then you lose access to them until gold again. the games on the 360 are free and to keep if your gold lapses. that's no reason to not get an xbox one.

 

Well, the promotion is called "Games WITH Gold". As Farscape mentioned, the policy on the One was never hidden or buried in fine print.

 

I'm not concerned with needing to keep Gold, I plan to anyway. It would just be nice to actually see a list of the X1 titles I've reserved so I'd have some confidence I'll actually have them when I get an X1. What I picture is that I'll eventually buy an
X1 and there will be no games waiting for me to download them.

 

If the games are not truly free even after gold then Ill just go with the better system for games which is ps4. Xbox wanted to copy psn and their policy on plus members. If they truly want systems to sale and the gold scriptions then change the policy to
how 360 has it.

 

I've never been able to add games to my One through the 360. it says its worked but they never show under My Games and Apps until added through the One.

 

I'm okay with Games For Gold being gold only on Xbox One. It makes sense and I don't see a problem with it. Doesn't PS4 have it where you can't keep the games either if you're not on PS+? Either way, I'm fine with it.

Also, I can't wait to get an Xbox One so I have a lot of free games to play.
