Did you see the extraordinary false advertising of TWC pricing on XBL (360) on 01/20/15?

I happened to be on my 360 yesterday and I noticed one of the most [Mod Removed] advertising campaigns I've seen in years...Plastered all over my 360 on every single tab (absolutely all them) were ads for complete bait-and-switch pricing
for Time Warner Cable Internet and TV.

Every tab displayed 1 of 2 ads.

Ad 1 was for 50Mbps INTERNET $34.99.

Ad 2 was for TV+ 50Mbps INTERNET $44.99.

Some of you out there actually get this pricing normally, but I was floored. We pay through the nose where I live to get mediocre speeds. I knew it was fantasy-land. Even dumber was that when you clicked on either of these ads, a video played that had absolutely
no relation to the ad whatsoever. 1 video said to upgrade your internet to speeds of 300Mbps, the other was just general TWC ad...nothing to do with the pricing displayed. I don't care if it's bait-and-switch or errant, the marketing campaign is beyond stupid.

Mysteriously on 01/21/15 those ads disappeared (not before I took pictures and full motion video) and were quite oddly replaced with advertising for...well...nothing whatsoever. Just a big giant e for internet explorer (on every tab), that when you click
on it, simply goes to the internet explorer browser app, not an ad. As if someone *** up royally here, had to pull these ads quickly and didn't have time to replace them...

Does anyone know what's going on here? Did you see these ads? I want those speeds at that price. Getting bombarded with ads for a service I already pay for is one thing; getting bombarded with false ads with false pricing is over the line...

Mistakes were obvious made. Probably by the people at the advertising agency who created the ad.

So, why didn't you take advantage of the offer when it was being made? If something is advertised at a certain price, they have to charge that price as long as the ad exists.

 

It is still being offered on mine today.. same as above, and I video'd this.. calling them in a minute.. I did check "online" and TWC has this price and so forth but it is for 15mbps..

 

Let me know how it works out for you. I've subsequently seen it sporadically on my 360 as well...
