"Did you request a security info change?"

Hello,

I updated my phone number of my account. When I tried to log on my xbox one profile I received the following message: "did you request a security info change?" I click "yes this was me" then i get a page saying click next to continue using your xbox one.
i click next and then it reverts back to the original page asking if i requested a security info change. The other option is "click I've found it, if you have your security info to get back into your account and cancel any changes" with my old number.

Well, first of all, I didn't lose my security info but changed my number. Second, I don't have my old number anymore hence the change. I went to the Microsoft page and they told me to wait 30 days. So basically I'm paying my live account, bought the xbox
one but can't play it for a month.

Some assistance would be very much appreciated.

yes i did the xbox now will not let me log in

i get the "did you request a security info change" screen i click yes that was me

then i get a "we arent ready for you yet " screen so i click next

then i get "did you request a security info change " screen again

i can log into all my live stuff online i just cant plat the xbox

can you help?

You should have been able to access the site, as the information should have been updated. I would recommend contacting Xbox support though this link here:
support.xbox.com/contact-us and they will be able to look into this in more depth.

Once the date has passed, the system should have updated your information as you had requested. I would also like to point out that Microsoft has done some back end work to the servers - which is also visible to the end users, such as ourselves. Thus meaning
there could also be a delay. You will notice these changes when you sign into Outlook.com through the site.
