    Did you request a security info change? Message loop !!!


    I received an email saying to update my security info so I thought better safe than sorry, I then received a email saying the security info with be changed in 30 days but this will not impede my ability to use my account. I thought nothing of it and continued
    to use my account for email, web apps and Xbox.com...

    However when I tried to sign in to my xbox I get the message 'Did you request a security info change?' To which I select 'Yes, that was me' then it states 'Click next to continue using your xbox one' I then click next only to be sent back to the original
    message asking me if I requested a security info change!!!

    I know this step should work as I helped change the security info on my younger brother's account only days ago and everything is fine and working...

    I have also seen others with the same problem but no additional follow up? Some say it's resolved itself after a day however I've not been able to sign in for close to 3 days now!!! Very frustrating Did you request a security info change? Message loop !!! :(

    If anyone can help I would be very grateful as the coming November has some great games to offer!

    so did anybody figured out what to do so we can sign in with our Microsoft account? cause yup pretty sure im stuck on this loop as well

    you could try remove your gt from your xbox and add it again, its possible that localy stored data did not update correctly

    to remove your gt navigate to Settings -> way right to find "remove account" and select your Profile -> power down your xbox on console and hold the button for 10 seconds -> then add your gt again

    Sorry for the late reply, I went out after getting annoyed (putting it politely)

    However when I returned I was able to sign in? Don't know how it was resolved? Don't think I did anything to fix it before I went out? Honestly don't know...

    I didn't try removing my account therefore can not tell if it would work. It seems like it would sort the situation, wish I thought of it 3 days ago Did you request a security info change? Message loop !!! :)

    Thanks for your response I will remember this method if I encounter any further problems

    You should have been able to access the site, as the information should have been updated. I would recommend contacting Xbox support though this link here:
    support.xbox.com/contact-us and they will be able to look into this in more depth.

    Once the date has passed, the system should have updated your information as you had requested. I would also like to point out that Microsoft has done some back end work to the servers - which is also visible to the end users, such as ourselves. Thus meaning
    there could also be a delay. You will notice these changes when you sign into Outlook.com through the site.
