Did you replace the HDMI cable with the one that came with the Xbox One? Perhaps, if not, the cable you are using is an older cable that is not compatible with HDCP, which is a copyright protection scheme.

Thank you for replying! I did not replace the one that came with the Xbox one. I am using it for the tv to xbox one and have my own hdmi cable that I am using to the cable box. I will try this in the morning and see if it works. Thank you for the suggestion.

No the HDMI 1.4 spec cable included will give you the optimal AV capability of the HDMI standard the Xbox One uses. Only reason I could think of buying a different cable would be length or durability. Fact that all the transmission of data on HDMI is sent
in packets digitally means the cable doesn't need high grade conductors or extra shielding like you might need with older analog connections.

If you need a really long extension you might have to invest in some equipment, but that is 50+ feet.

If your looking for a replacement HDMI cable I would check Monoprice.com or Amazon.com Basics. Cheap and well made for the price compared to retail store products.

Are you sure it's the HDMI cable that's not working?

Have you tried a different cable? And did you make sure you plugged the cable into the console's HDMI OUT port, (not the console's HDMI IN port)?

If it is an issue with the HDMI cable only, I suggest you simply order any cheap HDMI cable that is HDMI2.0 compliant, in order to minimize the waiting time.

You could make this a warranty case, but why wait 14 days (or thanks to the Corona precautions maybe longer) for support to send you a replacement HDMI cable, when you could just order one via Amazon or any electronics retailer in your vicinity which usually
costs about the same as an overpriced Starbucks coffee?

had the same problem as fatty talks about......wanted a upgrade hdmi cable, so bought the gioteck to replace the standard that comes with the xbox one.

NO signal!!! why? because the end on the gioteck hdmi cable is too short compared to MS version, very loose.
