Did Xbox change the game sharing?

Hi, I have been game sharing with my friend for a bit now but recently it stopped working. We can't play games together anymore because it's saying that I can only play one game at a time. I pay for the ultimate game pass and share it with my friend, he has his console set up as the home one and it never caused us trouble till this month. Now I can't play any game, both online and disc, even when he's offline. Please let me know how to game share again.

Sorry to hear about that, however, you may ask your friend to check if you're account is currently logged in on his/her console. You can also try re-syncing your account into the console. Ensure that you know your Microsoft account and password before doing so and your console is connected to the internet.

-Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

-Profile & System > Settings > Account > Remove account

-Select the account that you want to remove, and then select "Remove" to confirm.

-Once done, select Close.

Then, you can restart your console > long-press Xbox button on the controller > Restart

Lastly, sign in to your account again by:

-Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

-Go to Sign in > Add new

For the 360, each account would have to have it's own gold subscription, but they did change it so that gold can be shared across the console.

Same with the games. Say you use the code for the game on your account. As long as you have the console set as your Home console, your brother can access the game. If he were to play on a different console he would not have the game though.

Then why was I censored all I did was share a video game achievement

I did absolutely nothing wrong in this case.

There is a feature that allows you to share your xbox game achievements

directly from your xbox onto facebook.

When i went to the help thing on his Xbox it didn't give me an option for a survey, and it said the next time i can get a change is the third month of next year, and i was game share with one of my friends and i still had all 5 shares left when we did,
and that was a couple months ago

Did I miss something? I seem to recall that when the Xbox One was first being released, they removed the game sharing because of backlash over the Digital Rights Management policies. Has this changed for other regions and I had not heard?
