Did Update 5 install?

Discus and support Did Update 5 install? in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I cannot tell if the latest update to the game downloaded.     Did Update 5 install?


    I cannot tell if the latest update to the game downloaded. I did notice that there isn't a Black Market for BC's and a few ofther other options seem to have been installed; quicker loading, ammo levels changed on some weapons, uneven matchmaking etc.
    I've installed both DLC's with no problems. Anyway to find this out without having to reinstall would be nice. Thanks

    Xbox One update 10.12.13

    Didn't update as I went on ( just before 10am ) 5 minutes into Forza 5 it did lol

    NEW X BOX LIVE DASH UPDATE!!

    Mine took about 5 mins on a similar 5-6meg line. Weird thing is it did another update last night? strange

    When you're at the main menu, underneath where it shows your gamertag in yellow (bottom-left) does it show the version number as 1.0.5.9? If so, I believe that means you're fully up to date. You shouldn't be able to play the game without installing the latest
    patch anyway, but perhaps there is a glitch/bug that's affecting you.

    Ok last night it started working. It seems once my level increased after a game all of the new features popped-up and became available. So if anyone else runs into this problem just keep playing. Not sure if this is by design.

    Which HD did you install Gears 5 on? If it's installed on the smaller HD then you would need to install the update on that.

    You could try the support page https://beta.support.xbox.com/

    sometimes updates do install a bit wrong, and sometimes the instant on thing can play up, could try leaving it unplugged for 5 or so mins. Other than that im not too sure, the offline update just reinstalls the last newest update so if it did install wrong
    it would probably fix it
