Did or will you buy the X1 because it is an U.S.A company?

I'm Brazilian, so I can say that in Brazil Brazilians appreciate Microsoft and Xbox brand than Sony and Playstation brand, because Microsoft very cherishes the Brazilians. The value that Microsoft charge for Xbox One in Brazil is half the value that Sony
charges for PS4; Microsoft built factory in Brazil to produce the Xbox One, generating employment for Brazilians and Sony just to sell imported products from China in Brazil or when its products are produced in Brazil, these are outdated products on the international
stage; Microsoft was the first company to worry about launch their games dubbed and subtitled in Brazil; Microsoft was the first company of games to choose Brazil to receive a console on the day of its world premiere along with the USA and ahead of Japan.

For this reason the Xbox brand is number 1 in Brazil and win the Playstation brand with more than 80% of sales advantage. Today Brazil is the fourth largest consumer of games on the planet and won the most European countries weekly in video game sales figures,
selling more than the sum of many European countries. It is regrettable that the organs that include sales of videogames in the USA do not include sales in Brazil in their reports, he prefers to count only USA, Europe and Japan. If it were accounted for sales
of Brazil the Xbox would have a number of sales recorded much bigger than you think and the difference between him the PS4 in terms of sales wouldn't seem so great at global level. One might think so, if Sony has the Japan as territory where she reigns absolute,

Nice to see a Brazilian input here but not quite right. Neither company is openly boycotting the other. If anything MS is a bit more oppressive towards Sony. But yes, eastern companies do come off as being cold towards the consumer. However there is no action
taken without cause. Considering how the world cup will be in Brazil this year, there are a lot of viewers, and MS is making a positive image for itself there... This will be a rather interesting year (and thank god for no vuvuzelas this time).

 

Well most cars are american these days because most of them are made in america, for the american market. Honda, Hyundai, Toyota etc. Provide just as many jobs if not more to americans than Ford, Gm, Chrysler even though Chrysler is technically italian now.
These days the only foreign cars are the ones made over seas, they are likely to be higher end ones, Ferraris, Rolls Royces, Mclarens ect..

 

If you compare it to consoles, the Xbox one is more like the higher end cars Ferraris etc.. While ps4 is more like an 87 yugo.

 

I wouldn't say most. In a limited scale of just North America, yes. On a global scale, the Eastern market reigns supreme in cars. However, this includes those godawful trucks you would see in third world countries. Still on average you would look on an average
road and see more Toyota cars or KIA and such. Why, because people drive them into the ground, so to speak. For trucks and luxury cars it would be mostly american made. But anyway...we're getting off topic on this. Someone get this train back on the rails.
