Did or will you buy the X1 because it is an U.S.A company?

"umm considering not 1 part of it was built in the USA we arent really supporting USA we are supporting a company from the USA that takes alot of the money we give them and sends it out overseas which should actually be banned and written in our constitution.

This is a very selfish ideal and it effectively means that MS cannot do anything overseas (meaning I couldn't play Xbox One) and Sony couldn't sell in the US. Also, do you consider Chinese people lesser than Americans because they live on a different continent,
and use a different (in some cases superior) form of government?

 

It doesn't hurt...it wasn't a deciding factor exactly, but I do find that the Japanese consoles and games for them don't appeal as much to me. This could be a cultural thing ..I don't tend to enjoy games made by Capcom as much as I did when I was a kid,
for instance, though Dead Rising 3 isn't bad. I just seem to prefer a more Western style of game than what they put out now in the East.

 

I prefer Nintendo for my eastern games.

 

Honestly, this was part of my reasoning. A small part put still a part.

 

Actually alot of cars are just assembled in the USA not actually made from scratch. Just about everything made in the USA has alot of parts made from other countries. I understand the whole wanting to support our beautiful country of ours, but to be honest
, there's no good manufacturer jobs left in the USA , it's mostly all Malls stores, and restaurants. Our goverment messed everything up with taxing the *** out of companies. Plus alot of American manufacturering jobs are sent overseas cause its cheaper to
make. Employees in other countries get crapped on with pay . It's a shame the way big companies treat workers. I can go on and on. But I wont cause this is a gaming site...,.

 

The fact that it is a USA company didn't even register. My thought process was more like- Ooh, new Xbox! Want! Want! Want!

 

I know and don't like the fact that the X1 and most American cars aren't built here but without these American companies ...............good luck. Wake up people......

Where a product is made has no impact on my buying decision, but I do smile when I see "made in Britain" because we don't make much anymore.

 

I'll buy an X1 b/c it has games.

 

Look how the Japanese supports their countries company,makes Americans look like fools..

 

Nope, couldn't care less where it was made. LOL

 

I bought the XBOX One, not because it's an American company, but because it's a better product with a heck of a lot better support behind it. I honestly could never see myself owning a PS4.

 

I bought the XB1 because I was excited by the system's potential...three months on and no regrets!

 

@Dirgekills, Thats funny my 2013 Focus ST has a made in Michigan sticker on the side rear window.

Also the Japanese cars are not all made in the US, there assembled here with some parts made in the US. At least when purchasing a US product, (like the X1), you can assume that more US jobs were involved, design, engineering, ect.
