    Hi, There was a deal where if you subscribed to Groove Music for the Labor Day sale, you’d get two 3-month tokens for Groove Music in an email by the end of September. Spetember ended, and I never got my codes. I have never subscribed to Groove Music previously,
    I am eligible for the promotion and I did not receive my codes.

  3. Microsoft groove promotion December

    I signed up for the groove promotion for 4 months free of the service. It has been almost over a month now trying to get support, only to find out that no one is actually working on the issue as i was told. They told me to make a post here for help. After
    all my ssupport calls just for a promotion that they did not even have any knowledge about.

    I isnged up for. the 4 free months of. groove music. I received only one month of the service and did not receive the the remaining 3. months as was listed in the promotion. I am way far past annoyed that i cannot get any kind of help with this situation.

    Can you please clarify where you purchased Groove Music for this particular promotion? Did you purchase a trial from your Xbox One or was it via your PC? Let us know so we can take a deeper look into it.

    Hi, not positive. Pretty sure it was via xbox. possible it may have been through an android tablet or maybe even my phone. Lots of endpoints. Does it matter?

    Details including order number sent via PM.

    My expectations to close this issue are:

    - get promised promotional period applied my account

    - reverses August Groove auto-renewal month charge

    - start promo period in August

    - get this resolved promptly.

    This should not be hard. From observing forum traffic, MSFT clearly had issues with this promo. I don't expect to have to do a lot of Q&A here. Just fix it please. Thank you.

    Hi Xbox/Microsoft,

    I have the same issue. I purchased a monthly Groove membership 29 Jun after reading this article:

    and then going to the official Microsoft link within it:

    www.microsoft.com/.../bogo

    I checked all the mice print (you know the tiny print that explains all the exclusions) and decided I still qualified so purchased the pass. I have not yet received a promotional code and am disappointed in what I think is false advertising.

    In fact, because I have been burned by Microsoft in the past, I contacted a technical representative towards the end of July to confirm the promotion. The tech. rep. couldn't find the promotion but said Microsoft would send the promotional code to me via
    email before the term expired. She also cancelled Groove subscription auto-renew so that I wouldn't be charged unduly.

    I just don't understand? It seems that I cannot truly trust and believe what I think is the written contract on Microsoft's advertisement pages?

    If someone can please help me, without passing the buck, I'd appreciate it. Every time I chat with a Microsoft tech. rep, they pass me on to someone else, until it's an eventual dead end where I'm sent some other link with my issue unresolved.

    I had the same problem. I was on the phone with someone for 18 minutes today and then told I had to go to xbox support to get it resolved. I then went to chat for 20 or so minutes where they eventually led me here. Strange place to get your problem resolved.
