I bought an xbox 360 recently inside the box in the Quick Setup Guide comes informing the contents, but it does not come the headset inside the box, is this normal?

Hello.

I bought the Xbox One Stereo Headset secondhand and realized it did not come with the headset adapter. Is the adapter required to be able to use the headset?

Only the earlier elite and the pro models came with them the later ones did not.

If you are wanting the Xbox 360 Headset keep an eye out for the package that comes with the Chatpad, Headset and a Gold Membership. It's your best deal. We have them at our local Walmart here in Canada.

so i did a little bit more testing, with headset on it comes from my tv as well but with headset off tv sounds 100% fine

i'm having this same issue... did anyone ever figure it out? Just yesterday, chat was coming through fine through my headset and now, even with my headset plugged in BEFORE I turn on my xbox one, all voice chat still comes through my TV. I can talk fine
on my mic and when I push volume up, I hear a beep through my headset, but for some reason the chat is just not coming through my headset.... NEED HELP! This is frustrating!

Yes, I just did, the audio is still coming from the TV and not the headset.
