Did I just sign up for a paid subscription?

I was opening a game and something about my new account popped up. Before I could read it, it disappeared. What is going on??? Am I going to be charged for a game account. It said something about a free trial, but I don't want to pay for anything. I don't
have an X-box and don't want an account for one. Please let me know what is going on.

New to XBox Live...How do I sign in?

I just signed up on xbox.com and paid for my gold membership, now I'm trying to sign into my account on my xbox...

But the only option I can find is "join Xbox live!" and it wants me to create a NEW account,

Where do I go to sign into my EXISTING account, which I've already paid for?

I just paid twice for a DLC.

About 45 minutes ago I bought a Borderlands 2 DLC for XBox 360. After the DLC was completely downloaded, I wanted to play it, but Borderlands ''said'' that's still not downloaded and I have to purchase it before I am abled to buy it. The DLC costs 2,99€
in germany and I had to buy it again.

The download was after 10 seconds complete - so it seems, that it was already downloaded - and I was abled to play it. I can't explain that.

How I was abled to see that I had to pay it is that I looked on my Microsoft account and saw that there is missing 5,98€, 2,99€ too much.

Please help me and thank you in advande.

You would need to find out if your relative signed up for All Access when they purchased the console. That involves signing up for a credit line to purchase the console and includes a 24 month subscription to Game Pass Ultimate. If they paid full price without signing up for All Access, the console would not come with a subscription. If they did sign up, then typically that means the serial number did not get entered in correctly for the subscription and they'd need to contact the credit card company that's in charge of the All Access plan.

Thank you for the clarification. I think what you guys did on the console was to sign up for LIVE Gold, a paid subscription. Signing up for the Rewards program is free and option and only done on the website. I believe all your current questions concern
the Rewards program, so I would urge you to post back in your original thread for more help with that.

I'm fairly certain that you have to use a credit card or a pre-paid subscription card to sign up for an Xbox Music pass.
