    Did i get the correct av cable?


    i got a xbox 360 E console model 1538, and i need a AV cable , i got this one Gtopin Xbox 360 E AV Cable is not the right one since it doesnt seem to fit? which is the correct cable i would need.

    No video

    I havent used AV cords in a few years but when I did I had a similar problem. I had the settings in the xbox wrong and it just produced sound and no picture. I had to fix it without seeing what I was doing. But BlurOfBlaze is correct if you cannot fix it
    try new AV cords.

    Is it possible to control the tv volume seperate from the av volume?

    My wife will not want to turn on the av system if she just wants to watch tv. It seems as if that once av is established, you can only control the av volume and not switch between av volume control and tv volume control. Am I correct in this assumption
    or am I missing something?

    Are you using the thin AV breakout that comes with the HDMI AV kit, or did you somehow fit a standard AV port cable in alongside the HDMI cable?



    The AV port pins determine how audio and video are handled. In the case of the thin AV breakout, it's pined to indicate that video is via HDMI. Using an AV port cable that has video out on it will not work properly.

    HDMI Wont work with xbox! Really annoying!

    well i was trying (Because of a youtube video) to use the HDMI Cable with the normal xbox AV cable both plugged in at the same time, so my friend told me to unplug the AV cable (The Xbox Cable) and just have the HDMI Cable plugged in, so i did that, changed
    to the right channel and BOOM it worked

    Golden check and make sure all cable are in or your format or input on the tv isn't correct

    the inputs are

    TV

    Component/AV

    VGA

    HDMI 1

    HDMI 2

    HDMI 3

    USB

    Make sure it is on Component/AV for xbox
