Paragon points spread across all your characters as well,except your hardcore characters as they're seperate.

This game is so *** addictive! I thought once the story was over i'd ease off a bit and start on some other games, but it feels like the game is only just getting started with all the bounties and rifts and even better loot!!

 

When do the bounties and stuff start appearing,

 

^ Once you beat the campaign mate, it opens up adventure mode

 

Ah right cheers, I do love this game but I take so long to explore every nook and cranny I end up nearly falling asleep as I don't play I till late in the evening

 

Difficulty is important in enjoying this game.

You can only raise or lower the difficulty one at a time but raising the difficulty from Normal to Hard really only takes the difficulty from breastfeeding to bottled milk.

Youreally need to raise the difficulty, exit the game. Raise the difficulty, exit the game until you get to Master if you're familiar with the game.

There are 2 benefits to raising the difficulty.

Firstly, it gives you a challenge which provides a sense of accomplishment.

Secondly, higher difficulties offer more gold, larger experience rewards and better loot drops.

 

Yeah,once you start getting some paragon points on a level 70 character they become way to overpowered for the lower difficulties.

 

I started off on hard, then bumped it up to expert on act 2 then master at the start of act 4. I had a brief fling with 'Torment 1' with my first lv70 character last night while doing the adventure mode, but got my A** handed to me, so went back to master..I'll
wait to get a few more paragon points under my belt before trying again!

 

Yeah, I took my Maxed out character from the previous game and was thinking "Master's a bit easy"... and so I upped it to Torment.

8 quick deaths later it was time to pop it back to Master until I'd grown as a character a little more.

It gets interesting with Hardcore Characters, where any death is permanent.

You can change the difficulty here but not in game. You have to go into "Game Modes" then "Difficulty" and select it from there. Playing on Expert with my Barbarian at the moment.

The fields of Pandemonium are actually starting to pose a bit of a challenge.

It's Torment 3 for my normal Wizard.

 

Got to level 65 with a hardcore character,got a bit over confident & raised the difficulty & was promtly beaten to a pulp.

Didn't make that mistake again lol.

 

Can you play Hardcore mode at any difficulty?

 

Yes mate.I did it on normal just to be safe then made a boo boo in adventure mode with the difficulty.

Have I done something wrong with regards to killing 100 Treasure Goblins - I've completed the story, a few bounties and a rift, yet I only have the Greed over Need achievement at 4%?! Also, how frequent do the Death Smiles drop once I hit level 61 so I can
raise the Blacksmiths and Jewellers crafting level to 12? Cheers.
