Diablo III: Reaper of Souls for the 360/One

Man, you're sure going to be disappointed when 95% of the legendaries in the game are completely useless in Reaper of Souls. Right now the game consists of stacking nothing but crit hit chance, crit hit damage and elemental damage. Outside of sets pretty
much every class uses the exact same items (besides stat differences; IE: Dex / Int on a barb / crusader is pointless) stacking the exact same things (CHC,CHD,ELE). If you want to play on torment 3-6 you're forced to follow this meta.

 

Thanks Az. I knew the layouts were random but still thoroughly enjoyed exploring them. I was pretty gobsmacked to say the least when I completed the campaign only to learn that my awesome weapon wasn't a fraction in comparison to the strength of other weapons.
This game is a testament that games can be awesome but basic at the same time. I haven't met one person that doesn't like it.

Bon, I haven't played anything in the saga aside from D3 the main game so I am excited for the add on. Any user here that knows me well, knows it takes a lot for me to invest in add ons / DLC but this one has a sure winner on it for me!

You know what's even worse?

"Diablo III" and "Diablo III: The Reaper Of Souls" are computer games.

It's not real at all. It's nothing more than a series of code programmed to imitate images and probability algorithms to resolve damage and the like.

When you look at it like that I suppose Video Games become pretty uninteresting things but then I'll tell you that you're looking at video games the wrong way.

Except google didn't spoil anything and I'm just listing facts. Blizzard doesn't really understand how to balance their game. You follow the meta or you don't progress in RoS. Higher torment difficulties = higher MF per tick = easier to get best gear for
your character which is the entire point of the diablo series.

Like right now unless you're playing a crusader there is no reason at all to ever use a 2 hander as they only have a single socket. For weapons, all barbarians, monks, wizards and witch doctors search for the exact same weapon which is Thunderfury and wiz
/ wd have two better weapons but the chance to roll them is 1% on top of needing that type of weapon to even drop.

Rings need both crit chance and damage to be good (Two exceptions being the Stone of Jordan and RoRG), Amulets need the same but they can also roll ele damage so that's needed as well, CHC for helm, CHC for bracers, and CHC + CHD for gloves.

I mean if you play casually and don't care to progress through higher difficulties yeah you can do whatever you want. But as the expansion is, there's 0 reason to not stack the above stats (Which is slightly easier than it seems because of the enchantress).

"Diablo III" on the 360 is an example of one of the best balanced games they've ever made.

Months into playing this game to death we're still finding new and exciting loot, weapons and gear.

The words you spoke above are therefore completely wrong.

Tons of people moaned about "Diablo III" on the PC and most people playing the 360 version say it's better and fun.

I don't see why the ONE version of "Reaper Of Souls" should be any different.

 

You're joking right? You do realize that if the game even releases on the X1 it's also going to have the loot 2.0 system? Do you also even realize that the PC version also has the same loot 2.0 in place (Aka smart loot?) It's hilarious how the guy who hasn't
even played the expansion is telling me I'm wrong when I've been playing RoS for over a month. RoS is not the same as Vanilla D3.

I think Id pick up Diablo for XB1. I missed the 360 version.

"Diablo III" on the 360 is very different than Vanilla "Diablo III" on the PC as well.

So it's reasonable to expect that the "Reaper of Souls" expansion will also be different from the PC.

Sorry to hear the game sucks for you but running up to the release on the 360 there were tons of people bashing the game as the worst incarnation of "Diablo" ever and it's actually one of the best games ever released for the 360.

Can't wait for it on the One.

 

I still need my 5 million gold achievement, 3 million left to go and not sure if I could be bothered. One day I will.

 

People complained because the game was dumbed down. That and the login issues at launch didn't help. The game went from 8 players coop down to 4, skills were limited to 6 and the new rune system in general.

Also where did I say the game sucks? I don't think the games bad but I don't think it's "THE BEST GAME EVER" either.
I'm even playing it right now. The biggest problem is there's no variety when it comes to gearing whatsoever. Like with weapons there's no reason to ever socket anything with something that isn't
a green gem and a weapon without a socket is useless.

Besides, I got lucky on my Wizard and
got the best wiz weapon in the game that will never be replaced by any other weapon regardless of stats with the exception of a better version of the weapon itself (Which is extremely unlikely since it has a 1% chance to roll when a leg wand drops) or until
it gets nerfed. It's funny because it literally lets you skip from torment 1 to at least torment 4 regardless of your gear. So why would I not play the game?

 

No one-not even Blizzard has hinted that the 360 would get the expansion.Fanboys want it to be true but the fact is its simply not coming.

 

Actually it's Blizzard who stated they developed it for the XBox ONE as well as the Playstation 4.

They're the developers so I believe them more than you.

And Bon, the reason people think you hate the game is because in a thread created to talk about looking forwards to the game, you're rolled in to assure us we'll all be dissapointed.

 

Just because a game was developed on a platform doesn't mean it'll ever release on said platform. If Microsoft can't reach a deal with Blizzard it'll never release on the Xbox One. Also, last time I checked you're the only one Az so you can cut the whole
everyone is on my side / against you crap. The difference between us is I'm a realist rather than a fanboy. I'm not afraid to state things that are wrong with a game.

The only reason I got D3 for the 360, my computer wouldn't handle the demands. I have the original Diablo and the Battle Chest. I never played them yet, life get's in the way. Also, I can't believe one question leads to bashing. No wonder I never went to
