    I have been playing Diablo 3 for over 2 years on xbox one and the xbox s series. recently there has been an issue with players being unable to load into games and after it was resolved it still wouldnt let me play diablo 3. i am currently game sharing with a long time friend and i have my xbox set as the home xbox so we can share games that he and i have purchased for his account. i uninstalled diablo 3 and now it is telling me i have to re-purchase it. he currently owns a copy of it and it was working just fine before the recent issues. he is able to login and play on his xbox but on mine it wont let me redownload it. im not sure if there is an issue that im unaware of or if maybe something has recently changed but i was hoping that there is a way to resolve this without me having to purchase another copy (i originally purchased it for his account so we could both play)

    i have already looked up my purchase history and it shows that i had purchased the diablo 3 eternal collection and he has redeemed it. we are still game sharing and other games that either i or he has purchased work but diablo 3 doesnt

    also on a side note, i have noticed that the diablo 3 reaper of souls : ultimate evil edition is no longer sold separately. did blizzard change something and it has caused an issue with people game sharing?

    actually now it is asking if i own the game or app? we were both playing this game less than a week ago together with no problems and now it appears to not want to let us both play at the same time

    my buddy and i just went thru everything on his account and apparently the home xbox option was reset. we set it back to how it was and i am able to play games that he has on his account again. im guessing that after this last round of issues that something reset the option. i appreciate your response to this and am glad that we have found a solution to the problem

    i was able to log into my buddys account and download the game from there. was there something that was changed recently? i have also noticed that there are some games they own that are digital copies and im unable to see them on my account. is game sharing only available to certain games now?

    Thank you for the reply, i do appreciate a response in such a short amount of time. I will contact him tomorrow and use his account to see if i can download the game and update this post with my results :)
