    Diablo 3 save game corrupted on xbox 1


    i was playing all day, then decided i wanted my kid to play with me. i exited to title screen and closed the game completely and started to create a family profile for her. once i finished that i tried to start a game with my profile and it said my save
    was corrupted and possibly lost character, stash or items and it gave me the option to continue or go back. i was shocked so i i hit back and it wont let me go anywhere but the character creation screen, all my characters are gone nothing is there. i have
    them all saved on my xbox 360 save but i would lose all the paragon levels i gained since then. i would like all my stuff back please.

    Transfer x360 cloud save to Xbox One???

    Hello "NewBlacksmurf" Diablo 3 save game corrupted on xbox 1 :)

    Theoretically speaking, this is how it would work...

    (1) On the Xbox 360, you "move" the Diablo 3 Classic save file data to the Cloud or Flash Drive.

    (2) You "move" the Diablo 3 Classic save file data from the cloud or Flash Drive to the Xbox One HDD.

    (3) The game detects the Diablo 3 save file data from the Xbox One HDD and then converts it to Diablo 3 Ultimate Evil Edition save file data.

    (4) You can now play Diablo 3 Ultimate Evil Edition on the Xbox One Diablo 3 save game corrupted on xbox 1 :)

    Note: Theoritically speaking, since the save file date that is going to be converted is directly linked to the Gamertag that is currently active, inactive Gamertags will not be affected & should still be usable with Diabl0 3 Classic. Save file data that
    has been converted into Diablo 3 Ultimate Evil Edition will not be compatible at all with Diablo 3 Classic.

    Cloud Saved Games - Sorry, cloud storage isn't available. Status code: 83860009

    Hi,

    28th February cloud saves working fine with Diablo 3.

    1st March, Xbox live gold subscription expired. Launched Diablo 3, cloud saves not available.

    Renewed membership of Xbox gold for one month. Launched Diablo 3, selecting Cloud saves and message pops up stating "Sorry, cloud storage isn't available. Status code: 83860009"

    Troubleshooting

    • Moved save game from local Cloud Saves under settings > storage to a USB.
    • Launched Diablo 3
    • Choose USB, saves game works fine
    • Choose Cloud Saves, no error or message appears and asks to setup your screen and create a new character. No saves available but it does work.
    • Exited back to console settings and moved save game back to cloud storage
    • Launched Diablo 3
    • Choose Cloud Saves, message appears "Sorry, cloud storage isn't available. Status code: 83860009"
    Can't find info on this Status Code. Need help to resolve issue, thanks.

    Hi AnbuColo.

    There is never an easy way to say this, but once a file goes corrupted, nothing will restore it.

    Where the savegame-file saved unto the internal/external HDD or the Cloud?

    Try and go to games and apps and highlight the game , then hit the menu button on the controller and select "manage game " on the right it should say "saved data" select that and delete the local save on the console , DO NOT select "delete everywhere"....hopefully
    when you restart the game it will sync up and restore....worth a shot...

    The "Save File Corruption" issue was patched for Diablo 3 Classic on the Xbox 360. I hope that your issue gets resolved soon :)

    HELP: how to transfer save file on xbox 360? Deleted offline account. Save file useless?

    Each save file is tied to a profile and it cannot be recovered without the original profile present.



    The original Diablo 3 and Reaper of Souls are two different games. The save files are incompatible without transferring the data within the game (transfer from Diablo 3 into ROS).



    However, the process is not reversible (i.e. you cannot transfer characters from ROS into Diablo 3).



    Therefore, unless you still have the original Diablo 3 disk, your save will not be usable.
