Diablo 3 - Good Job Microsoft

You understand that the PS4 versions framerate was due to a bug that was fixed with a day one patch correct? Blizzard even sent out a statement confirming it was just hours after that comparison article went up. People are upset because it went from 900p
- 1080p and didn't hold that 60 fps that it did before. It's not surprising they're going to get flak for it.

There will be no XBLA. Microsoft made that clear in their reveal or after-shows. There will just be games. Indie titles will be available right alongside AAA titles.

It is pretty bad when game devs are slamming the X1.

 

^^i think what is really bothering u is that the gap is closing a small rare dip in FPS is not an actual gap. What i don't understand is the jealousy u have from X1 like its more important to u to see it fail than to see ps succeeds

 

I care more for resolution I want to see more 1080p frame rates can be 30 or 60 whatever resolution does matter.

[/quote]Are you actually serious? You clearly haven't been here very long if that's what you're going to reply to me with. People can deny it all they want but I'm one of the few unbiased posters left on these forums. If somebody only wants to tell one side
of the story and not finish the rest of course I'm going to post it. I have no intentions on buying Diablo on either console when I already have it on PC.

 

True that i am not always around nor have been here for long. Since you say ur unbiased so it should be safe to say that ps4 has a stronger hw while Ms went for an architectural approach if this approach proves that the difference is gonna be a small frame
rate drop here and there it is not bad.

I am more than ok if all games ran with this difference only

 

I do most of my gaming on 32" Samsung and 32" Vizio 720p televisions; 1080 is great and all, but evidently not enough of a "perk" to play in my living room. I would rather have higher frame rates than graphics, though if they can pull of both...great!

I can't even use 1080 on my TV with the One since it doesn't support 1080i. Slightly annoying that Microsoft made the One the only current gen console not to support it but I suppose they had their reasons.

 

The gaming media ( well a lot of them ) are a complete joke these days.

Right so everything I say on this forum is praising the PS4 because you're upset that I told the other part of the story in this thread and the truth in your DX12 ones? Honestly, I don't think you even read my posts here at all. You've done more trolling
on the PS4 forums (Which I can link your account if you want) than I've apparently ever done on this subforum. Most of my posts on here are completely on topic towards the multiplat games threads that I post in. See Minecraft, Mortal Kombat, Destiny ect. I've
even posted on here praising X1 exclusives like Quantum break.

Do I have a PS4? Yes. Do you know what it does in my home? 99% of the time nothing. It just sits on my desk gathering dust generally the only thing I turn it on for is getting my free games for the month. The only reason I even purchased the thing is because
the exclusives, to me, were more interesting than what Microsoft was offering at the time.

Do I plan on getting an Xbox One? Yes I sure do. I was mainly hoping for an Halo bundle with the Master Chief collection but it looks like I'm going to have to wait a little longer on that. I have full intentions on purchasing it for Guardians, the next
Gears game and Quantum Break.

Most people here already know that my main platform of choice that I spend most of my gaming time on is my PC over the rest. If simply owning the console is your excuse for "praising it" claims I hate to break it to you but I'm not the only one on this forum
that has one. I'm not going to sit here with my fingers in my ears screaming "LALALALALALA" and only tell half a story to make some biased argument.

TLDR; Don't be upset because I said the truth about DX12 which is the whole point of your post.

 

To be fair, I don't really care what a game is set at for resolution or frames. So long as it runs fluid, looks good and has a good story, I am happy. That being said, since the start of this gen, 1080 / 60fps has become sort of a base standard or at least
an expectation and I blame social media for some of that because a lot of them seem to use that as a weapon to hit competition. As a fan of Xbox and just one voice in a large crowd, I can say whole heartedly that I have been happy with the quality of the games
I have played so far and to me, that's all that matters for me. Though I can completely understand why some folks would like 1080. Though like I said, for me, I don't really mind.

So, let me get this straight - Blizzard couldn't reach 1080p, but MS demands that they reach it, so MS just gives them a code update to reach it? If MS could just give them a code update, why not give it to them in the 1st place? Or to any of the developers?
That just makes it sound like MS is holding back on the developers like a stubborn parent.
