    Diablo 3 "do you own this app"


    Hi a few days ago I purchased Diablo 3 then the expansion's necromancer etc, I played it for a few days and today I went to go on and it said do you own this app etc.

    So I signed in and out, closed the app restarted the Xbox and it says the same thing. So I checked my bank statements and the money has been taken for the expansion's but not the game it self even in Microsoft payment history it is not there.

    When I go into the store it just says play it gives me no option to repurchase but I'm worried about purchasing again and being charged twice, and if I have to repurchase is there a way without uninstalling the game it self.

    I used a download token to play the game yesterday and today it's asking if I own the game or app.

    Sorry to hear it. Please try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down to see if that helps.

    If it does not then you may need to try deleting then reinstalling the game. You can delete the game by highlighting it from the dashboard then press the start button on the controller and choosing Delete.

    To reinstall go to My Games & Apps then Ready to Install.

    The game was free to play this past weekend. So it sounds as though you actually downloaded it for free but didn't actually purchase the game. You would need to purchase the game to continue playing it. Try purchasing it from the website if it doesn't give
    you the option on the console.

    Ah I see thanks for the reply, I just tried to purchase it on the website but it's asking to verify via alt email or phone number but I now have neither and have to wait 30 days for it to reset.

    The majority of hate for D3 comes from the actual fans of the Diablo series. Not because of controls or other technical reasons. It is because Diablo 2 is a FAR superior game, and D3 did nothing to advance gameplay or anything like that, it took a step BACKWARDS.
    Diablo 1 is a far superior game to Diablo 3 in the gameplay department.

    I am an actual fan of the Diablo series. I still own my original copies of Diablo, Hellfire, Diablo 2 and Lord of Destruction. I bought the collectors edition of Diablo 3 even though
    I knew my old pc could not run the game.

    Before I moved to console gaming I didn't bother buying games for my pc because I spent hundreds, maybe thousands of hours playing Diablo.

    You say the hate for it is because it is not as good as 2. Then why does that reason that it is not as good come down to "it was made for consoles?"
