Diablo 3 and Reaper of Souls for Xbox One

I hope it makes it to the Xbox One, especially for those that didn't play it first time around as in my opinion it was a fantastic title.

Presuming it does come to Xbox One I'm still undecided, would much rather a totally new game/story than another game we've seen before on last gen. I think it will depend on how many of my friends/family pick it up on Xbox One so I could play it through
on co-op, only played it through on my own first time around.

On that great console gaming magazine "Forbes" as well.

So the developers confirmed that they're developing for the PS 4 and the XBox ONE and then the article's author speculates the delay may be because of a "rights dispute".

His words, not the developers.

So all you've managed to link me to is somebody's best guess when we've already got a thread full of that here and now already.

 

Azrael008uk Before I waste any more time explaining this to you how about since your so smart you tell us why would they make the game for X1 and not officially announce it like the PS version?

There was a really clever guy on the previous page who pointed out that this is exactly what happened with the XBox 360 version leading people to speculate that there was some sort of marketing or promotional agreement between Sony and Blizzard.

I can't confirm this is the definitive answer since I don't work for Sony, Microsoft or Blizzard however it's a fairly credible one made even more credible by your own article where the developers from Blizzard confirmed they have been developing for the
XBox ONE.

I loved Diablo 3 on the 360. So addicting! Me and the missus would play it for hours on end. I miss it. We need to get back into it. Anyway, a X1 version would be amazing. They can do so much from the vanilla game.

 

"I don't know where we are with Microsoft right now so I can't really comment on what that
contract looks like," Diablo 3 lead producer Alex Mayberry explained to us this morning while discussing tomorrow's launch of Reaper of Souls. "The point is we are developing for Xbox [One] and PS4 simultaneously. We hit those major platforms
and then our goal as a development team is to make them run."

Mayberry says that "it makes more sense" to develop for both next-gen consoles simultaneously, even though a release on Microsoft's console has yet to be confirmed.

"We have that pipeline worked out," he continued. "We've already done it with the 360 and PS3, so that team knows how to develop at the same time for both of those platforms. That's just what we do. And then
Blizzard and Microsoft can work out whatever they work out."

This is from Forbes source since you don't like Forbes it's very obvious that the contract has been worked out with Sony and not yet with Microsft why you have a hard time with this I dont know. I also talked to the people at there booth at Pax East but I
am not trying to write a book. I just want the game.
