After months of
speculation and age ratings, Capcom has finally made a formal announcement regarding the Devil May Cry HD Collection. It is now a confirmed project and slated to hit the Xbox 360 and PS3 in early 2012.

The collection will feature Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2, and Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening Special Edition for a cool $39.99. While the third game had a PC port, the collection will mark the first time Dante's original two adventures have appeared
on anything outside the PlayStation 2.

Both Devil May Cry and Devil May Cry 3 are fantastic games and I'm pretty excited to get both of them again in HD. How about you?"

The best thing about this announcement is the fact that we Europeans are finally getting the 'real' version of DMC1 without ugly-@@@ borders and game-destroying slowdown. And it sure will be fun trudging through DMC2 to get those last few achievment points.

Uhhh yeah, Capcom are some prankster gangsters. I already own the same HD collection on 360, sadly however Capcom is supposedly revamping this new upcoming version for Xbox one and charging me more money to own rights to this one as well. CAPCOM sucks, and
I'm so sick of this double digital re-purchasing. Why in the world wouldn't they just convert the 360's version over, oh for more monetary gain on existing older titles. Someone needs to do something about this garbage.

Devil May Cry 2, and Devil May Cry 3. The game has 99 achievements.

The collection you are seeing on the store is in fact the Xbox One version of the games (if it's this one

verviewtab), so they should work on your console. The Xbox 360 versions of the games are not compatible so would not work on the console.

I know this isn't the right thread for it, but It's also rumored that Capcom is going to announce the Devil May Cry HD collection at E3....For those who never got to play the first two(Just because there's a Devil May Cry 2 in the pack doesn't mean you should
play it)

The DMC HD collection is even worse than a MGS collection without the first game....releasing a collection for a game series that you're completely rebooting
