Device will not migrate

I cant get the adapter to bind with my controller, when I look in the event logs I see it shows Device USB\VID_045E&PID_02E6\358617 could not be migrated.

Has anyone got any idea what this means and how can I fix it?

Account Migration

Yes there is xbox live for windows phones

You can only migrate to existing xbox live regions for xbox or phones or pcs for only those devices

 

Purchasing with Microsoft credit and migrating account

It's not an error. When you migrate your account region, currency does not migrate with you. The currency is still on your account, but as US currency. You would have to migrate your account back to the US region in order to use the money.

 

That is the VID/PID for the Adapter, it may be worthwhile to look at the driver setup log file in C:\windows\inf\setupapi.dev.log

 

Thanks for the input, I have had a look in windows\inf\setupapi.dev.log and to be honest, I am not 100% sure what I am looking at.

Any tips?

 

Please search in the file, from the bottom up(reverse) for "VID_045E&PID_02E6" and possibly attach any relevant sections in your reply here. Ideally the whole file would be good to investigate, but there doesn't seem to be a way to provide attachments in
the forums.

I have had to revert back to Windows 8.1 due to other issues with Windows 10 and the adapter won't work with 8.1 if anyone can supply the details Cy43rguru has requested then he maybe able to help you on this.
