Device Service doesnt work

Hello together,

i recently bough a Xbox One X. After Forza-Horizon 4 Gameplay a found a rather unique error with my controller. The "rb"-Button seems to trigger twice on a single input and sometimes it doesnt trigger at all. This is
of course very painful if you drive manual in the game.

I switched to my xbox one s controller and had no issues at all. I tried to open a service case lot of times, but the website will be always stuck on "Retrieving your eligibility" and doesnt move forward.

What cause could that be? I really would like to sell my xbox one s now, but i can't sell it if i still need to use the one s controller

Device Service and Repair Not Working

You'll need to contact Xbox Support for assistance.

They will determine the eligibility for warranty and may need a copy of your receipt for the controller.

NOTE: Xbox Accessories (controllers, elite controllers, headsets and so on just have a 90 day warranty in the US)

Xbox Support might be able to help but that $150 controller just has a 90 day warranty.

Device Service and Repair Not Working

I'm trying to get my Xbox Elite Controller repaired (it's still under warranty covered by my Xbox Elite Console)

I Put in the PID Number, then I put in my Address, but the "Choose a Service Type" page just keeps trying to load with the spinning circle and nothing comes up.

Don't have much time left on my Warranty so I would really like to get this sorted ASAP...

Thanks, i did select "one button or more are not working". Then they tell me, that the controller needs to be replaced and i'm on my device selection.

After selecting my xbox x, the next page it gets stuck on "Retrieving your eligibility".

 

I would like to contact any email address, yet "they" (website) pointed me just to this forum.

If this is error keeps coming up we suggest
Requesting a Callback from one of our Xbox Support Specialists so we can look into getting the controller replaced or serviced. Give it a shot and let us know if we can further assist in this or any other matter!

 

Have you tried to do a hard reset? That may solve it.
