    I have no idea what is going on with my mic. I have tried everything and no matter what the Xbox won't pick up my voice, and i can hear everything just fine. My mic works fine on my computer and even when i put in a different headset it doesn't work. I tried
    buying a new Xbox mic adapter today and it still will not work. I have two Xbox controllers and it won't work on either of them. This has been a problem for days now and i have tried almost everything. Someone please help me with this.

    Okay, here is an excellent reminder to check the clock on the computer you're using...

    I checked that the "Set Time Automatically" button had been selected, but somehow it was out by two hours (not in the wrong time zone). Deselected Set Auto and re selected Set Auto and the time became correct and magically the console appeared.

    I have successfully added my Xbox One to my laptop (Windows 10) and streamed, I have a phone and an iPad which have been used for Smart Glass for over a year.

    But I am unable to connect to my Xbox One using the Windows 10 desktop (Lenovo all-in-1) in my son's room. I have confirmed the software is of the latest version and the Xbox One is fully updated. I have successfully ping-ed the IP address that is shown
    in the Xbox's settings and have even gone so far as to find the console in the Network folder (it shows as both Media and Other devices).

    I've checked my firewall settings and they are set to allow the Xbox App.

    I've run out of ideas and almost run out of patience.

    Hey there MtnDEWmercenary,

    Sorry to hear about the issue with the controller and console disconnecting. Are you playing on an Xbox One or Xbox 360? What troubleshooting steps have you tried and have you tried having the controller plugged into the console directly as opposed to wirelessly?
