Device control an TV set up

    Hello,

I'm trying to set up my TV on my Xbox one.

The brand of the TV is "Pilot" from Israel, in the TV setup menu I select "I don't see my brand", then I find PILOT manually, but then I can't find my model, and the automatic setup also doesn't work.

    Is there any solution?

    Thanks

    :)

Steps for setting up Hauppuage WinTV-HRV 955Q on XBOX One?

After you plug in the wintv usb(you will see a power light come on), if it does not go the setup screen. You can go to Setting,Tv & OneGuide, click on the Device control. Under Devices, you should see "TV tuner settings" click on that, than you will see
    "Set up TV Tuner"

Can't turn on/off benq projector with kinect

    Hey petr725,

Let's try following these steps to get the TV power settings up and running:

    • Press menu on your Xbox One controller and then select 'Settings'.
    • Within the settings screen, select 'TV & OneGuide', followed by 'Device control'.
    • On the 'Device control' screen, select TV.
    • If you haven't set up your projector yet, I suggest trying the remote code '2563' which may work. After setting that up, make sure you select 'Send power off twice' under the 'Advanced' options. That setting is useful for some projectors.
Try that out and let us know how it goes!

Xbox wont turn on my tv

    Hi Atlanta Chrome,

Can you go to TV & OneGuide settings -> Device Control -> Power settings and try changing your TV's control to toggles and/or discretes?

If that doesn't work, go to TV & OneGuide settings -> Device Control -> TV -> Enter a remote code and try entering these in to see if they help?

Xbox Mute needs to be sent twice to Samsung HW E350

Thanks Hanzo. What other devices you have?

In TV & OneGuide settings -> Device control -> Power settings, what are things set to there?

In device control -> each device (TV, AVR, STB) -> Enter remote code, what codeset value is listed (something like T2051, C1982, etc).

Where are the IR Delay settings hiding?

Sorry the IR delay settings are in Settings / Display & Sound / Volume / Set Up TV & AV Control

Go into your individual devices and the IR settings will be there.

They are in my Cable or Satellite Box settings for example.
