device communication banned

My xbox one device has been communication banned, and it was supposed to end October 5th. If anyone could please email me or something. This makes no sense the console ID does not even match my console.

Recently banned listed but still locked

This is a device privilege suspension lasting 60 days usually. This only affects communication but you have to be banned a lot of times for it to happen

My account was banned for life.

im communication banned but it doesnt sau a date. i was also banned from playing online and that suspension passed already but im still communication banned.

If you have an account Communcation ban the then you can follow these steps to clear it:

If all suspensions are expired, and you are therefore clear, try the following steps:

Remove your account from the Xbox.

Give your Xbox a power cycle.

Add your account back into the Xbox.

Attempt to use the social features now.

If it was truly a console ban and not your console ID I would start looking at these areas: Do you Game Share? Did your friend use your account and get you ban??

If your ban is over and you are still seeing the effects of it, follow these steps:

Remove your account from your Xbox

Restart your console by pressing the xbox button, press settings, press restart

Add back the account.

You can also double check your privacy settings by

Going to Sign in to your Microsoft account and click privacy settings

Then scroll down to "Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites?" and select "Everyone"

Scroll down to the bottom of the page to save

You should first check and make sure that your suspension is over and did not get a extension added to it. To do this go to
https://enforcement.xbox.com/en-US sign in and click on the orange hammer in the top left. This will take you to your enforcement history page. If your suspension got an extension you can file a case review.

To see how to file a case review check out this video:

If your suspension really should be over then doing a power cycle usually fixes this.

To do a power cycle: You will need to press and HOLD the power button on your CONSOLE until the LIGHT turns OFF. Next you will need to unplug your console from the wall and wait 2 minutes. After the 2 minutes are up restart the console.

In order to protect the community and the Xbox service, Microsoft does not discuss the details of a specific console ban. Io answer your other question, no the device in question will not be unbanned. There is no recourse for device bans.
