    Developing XBox Apps?


    I'd like to know if there is a way to "extend" the parental controls on XBox by building an app to do it.

    The XBox has extremely WOEFUL parental controls and I believe that there is a very valuable market out there for plugins or apps that can accomplish even more than the built in controls that Microsoft has provided.

    Looks like PS4 version of CoD may not be the best version

    xbox 360 held a steady framerate where the ps3 and 4 could not very interesting, the problem is game developers are not developing souly for next gen they developing for current as well which is holding back the potential of the newer games

    HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript utilizing the WinJS library. I recommend using Visual Studio 2012-2013. IMO, that's the easiest way to do it. Basically, it's essentially the same as developing a Windows 8 app, so you can always search for examples of that if
    you're having trouble finding information. I worked on one these myself, and it was pretty cool. MS gives you a template to work from that more or less gets you jump started in the right direction. MS has an extensive review process and checklist of things
    that you must do, and how it must function, in order for it to pass certification.

    There was some talk of this happening a while back - developers would be able to port "Modern UI" apps from Windows 8. It sounds like some additions are required to support voice recognition in user interfaces etc. Other than that though I can't find any
    kind of developer resources for it - does anyone know where to look for this stuff?
