Developer WP10 - W10 - WM10 - PREVIEW PROGRAM ACCEPTANCE

Hello Xbox one Community. New to the forum, but not new to Windows Family. I have developed a few apps for Windows Phone 7-7.5-8 and 10. Currently running Windows Insider - Preview for Developers on my Surface Pro 4, Windows Mobile
10, Sony Vaio Desktop. Proficient in SDK development.

I am wanting to be involved more heavily in the Xbox One Preview Program, for future app implementation of my own apps as well as new updates within the windows eco-system. Staying on the latest updates and app development
within the Xbox one console, is of great interest to me. I am hoping to contribute to the Xbox one platform, providing feedback within the feedback HUB, and make my own contributions.

Any participating member of the Xbox One Preview program that would be able to add me to their list and extend an invitation to me, now or in the near future would be greatly appreciated.

Preview Program Acceptance

Hey, MazdaSkin! Onyx is right in that if you are invited, that does not mean you are accepted. You know when you are accepted once you get the Xbox Live message from the preview team. If you get that and get enrolled and still can't access the preview forums,
then please make a new post detailing what you're running into. Thanks for understanding.

 

Preview Program Acceptance

I also wanted to chime in here that an invitation to the preview program does not necessarily mean you will be accepted. Also, phone support has no access to tell who is or is not in the preview program so you may have been sent here in error.

As for the invitation, it has been noted by the Preview team that they have had such an increase in requests since E3 that they have put a temporary hold on adding more people but will do so in waves from time to time so please be sure to keep your eye on
your Live messages for more info.

 

Hey, MattMan7172! Happy to see how enthusiastic you are about participating in the previews we offer, however the Support Forums are not where we suggest asking for invites to the Xbox One Preview. There is a thread in the
General Discussion forums that you should be able to ask other users for an invite. Please feel encouraged to check that out.

Being invited to the program does not guarantee that you will be accepted to the program. You know you are accepted when you receive an Xbox Live message telling you to download the app.
