Developer Reply please : Game not detecting Xbox 360 controller on Win10 PC

Just as the Title says, game is not detecting my wireless 360 controller at all, FYI, Forza horizon 3 which is also a UWP game is detecting it fine but not this game,

Please Reply on how to fix this or this was truly a waste of $30.

If its beyond fixing please give me instructions on how I can refund.

Wireless XBOX 360 controller won't work only in an online game (PC Win10 system)

Hello.

My Wireless XBOX 360 controller will not work for example in NBA2K16 - it works only on a local game, but when I play with someone online, only the wired XBOX 360 controller works.

It's a win10 pc system.

Is there any way I can use my xbox 360 controller on the xbox one? Or make the xbox one controller more like the xbox 360 controller?!

when streaming xbox one to pc - the 360 gamepad connected to the pc works great (dashboard / one games / apps / 360 games / everything else).

wish the xbox one (basically a modified win10 in a console housing) could natively support "backward compatible" wired 360 gamepads when plugged in the one usb port.

sadly thats not the case in moment.

In seven of ten cases I prefer the 360 gamepad over the one game pad - but i super like the new one d-pad on the controller (personal opinion)

are ms xbox one console software developers read in the forums?

Hi! By default, Windows will detect DualShock 3 controllers as Xbox 360 controllers, which will allow for automatic remapping and compatibility in most games with controller support. Barely any PC games have native support for PlayStation controllers, so it will emulate XInput, the system used for Xbox controllers, instead.

Thank you for replying. The controller is always detected. Yes, Win10 is updated and it keeps the drivers updated.

The issue is that after opening a game, the controller moves from Player 1 to Player 2. I cannot move it back to Player 1 without a reboot. It has ruined the gaming experience.

I suspect some of the issue is with the xbox gamebar software.

Xbox 360 controller needs a special adapter, for detect controller on PC. If you want play with xbox controller on PC I recommend Xbox ONE controller.
