Developer Mode Stopped working after latest Xbox Update

After the update for Xbox, (08/27/20) I went to switch over to Dev Mode yesterday on my Xbox One X and suddenly got the following message:

Almost there

You're almost ready for development, but first we need to update your Xbox. After the update, come back to this app and you'll be able to switch to developer mode.

...................................................................................................

The Xbox is already updated and there is plenty of room for the app as well.

I just tried going into settings —> system —> console info, and pressed the following buttons in quick succession to bring up the hidden developer mode menu LB, RB, LT, RT, ... checked the box to enable developer mode. My system resetted itself and put me
back in dev mode. All my apps from my last session are still on the partition.

Same issue. Was using dev mode without any issues an hour ago, then updated to the latest OS and now I’m getting blocked with this same message when I try switching to dev mode...

It appears that the latest xbox update is NOT COMPATIBLE with the version of DEV MODE that is currently in the MS Store. ATTENTION MS Developers .... PLEASE release a new version of DEV Mode that IS compatible with the new OS update. I will assist
with builds or pull requests or even creating you guys a release branch if needed.
