we are planning to develop a general applications(kind of mobile applications). so how to develop and deploy the applications on xbox 360 retail kit.

please explain us protocols/requirements to follow for developing applications.

how to approach the Microsoft to get certifications for developing the applications.

Hi there, Nils28!

We would not recommend enabling developer mode on the console, unless you are a developer who is in the process of creating a new application.

Additionally, the developer mode for the Xbox One console would not allow others to install a virus on accounts. We'd recommend reading over the

Developer Mode Activation App FAQ for further clarification in regards to this.

The Xbox app's profile (or profile on xbox one) for each user has time when people played a game last but I don't think there's anything that lets you see how long someone's played, except if you are a parent of a child account and you set screen time

Thank you for keeping us updated. The best way to submit this idea would be through the
Xbox Ideas link that the ambassador provided. Microsoft will need to work with the developers to have that application applied to our devices. That is something that both parties
will need to consent to. You may be able to submit this idea to the developer support page of whichever game you would like to see this on.

With an application such as that, the developer of that application is earning revenue from the other companies that they have teamed up with.

For example, in an application that rewards you for playing games, the developers of the various game applications that are available to play have made an agreement with the developer of the reward app that for every person that downloads and plays their game
through that reward app they will pay the developer of the reward app x amount of money.

The developer of the reward app then rewards you do user with points or in this case coins.

Once you have earned enough coins to redeem for a given reward, the developer takes the portion of their revenue that they have allotted to you in the form of coins and uses the actual money that is behind that to purchase the gift card and pass the relevant
information such as a gift card code on to you the user. It is perfectly legal
