Dev mode, nothing working after reboot

So I put my xb1 in dev mode. Sideload a bunch of programs apps and such. Everything works.

I saw a few mentions in retroarch threads about having to reinstall after a power off...

But all my installed apps none work after reboot. I have to delete them all and reinstall...

Just wondering if some one might be able to give me a idea what's up. Is it a total dev mode issue? A possible setting?

That mode is for people who know how to work the programs in early stage so i don't think you will find any feedback on that.

On the
official instructions to set up Dev Mode on the Xbox One it states the following:

"NOTE:

Your retail games and apps won’t run in Developer Mode, but the apps or games you create will. Switch back to Retail Mode to run your favorite games and apps."

So not being able to run your installed apps and games you got from the Store is perfectly normal. In Dev Mode you can ONLY run the programs you sideloaded. To be able to run retail games and regular Apps from Marketplace, you will have to switch back to
retail mode and exit Dev Mode.

As I stated it's a problem with my side loaded apps nothing to do with retail mode.

Any sideloaded app I download or created works on the current power session. But if I reboot the console I have to delete them and reinstall. For them to work again. I understand that store content won't work in dev mode And vice versa.

Sorry, I misunderstood your original posting then. 😔

When you said "But all my installed apps none work after reboot", I assumed you were referring to the installed Store apps that don't work after reboot.

Now that you explained it, I understand you meant your sideloaded apps you installed.

Guy on another site showed me a temp fix Seems like granting permissions fix it some so I don't have to re sideload everything. So it seems as if a major bug in xbox dev mode.

I come from a long life of Sony play stations. running this along side my ps4 And psvr. I saw the price of this one s bundle with 3 months game pass ultimate and junk for 149 couldn't pass it up as a household xmas present.

But I do a lot of messing around on android and xda so I figured I'd give the 19 bucks for a dev account and take a whack at this too
