    Steps I've done but still failed to fix dev error

    1. Reset my console and all games on my xbox one x (Still didn't resolve issue)

    2. Bought a hard/disk copy from gamestop (Still didnt resolve issue)

    3. Port Forwarding and NAT open with all the network recommendations offered by xbox and activision (Didnt resolve the issue)

    4. Uninstalled and re-installed the game ( Still didnt resolve the issue)

    5. Pulled out my PS4 and repurchased (This resolved my issue). I seriously have not had any issues playing COD Warzone on my PS4 and that is all multiplayer games offered. I hate to say it. I love my xbox one x. But If Xbox isnt going to help resolve this
    issue and activision doesn't have a problem with it. I think its time to start moving over to Playstation.

    Question: Why is that? Why is COD Modern Warfare - Warzone working on my playstation 4 but not on my xbox one x? I thought LBoogie2332 had a point but after switching consoles. There was another user who posted about Licensing issues and being kicked after
    starting the game up. Please let me know if you microsoft is planning on doing anything to help us out? If not, at least let me know so I can get rid of my xbox. Thank you.

    Call of Duty Modern Warfare Dev error 6317

    Experiencing constant kicking on Call of Duty Modern Warfare due to dev error 6317. It seems to be an issue with the transfer of the game license for the digital copy over the internet almost as if for a split second my account doesn't recognize that I own
    the game but that is just a theory. I have tried clearing the cache, resetting the mac, and port forwarding. None have resolved my issue. This has been going on since the first update post release of the game that was supposed to solve a similar issue that
    Xbox one X owners had at launch ironically enough it didn't effect me and ever since that update I have been stuck with this issue. Does anyone know what this dev error actually is for? And how do I fix it?

    UPDATE: I was told to do a soft factory reset just because I may have some corrupt save files on my console causing the problem. Upon completion I have still seen no improvement to Dev error 6317.
    Ive had same problem i would get to play 10 minutes then game crashes to game home screen with the DEV ERROR 6317 its been going on passed 2 days it to the point where i uninstalled the game until they fix the problem

    I've tried that and am still having the issue even worse now. I finally just got an email from Activision support after placing tickets for the better part of three months. I will keep this thread updated with any info they provide.

    I see you have tried port forwarding but when you did this did you make sure you added the specific TCP/UDP ports for call of duty or did you port forward just the Xbox ports? The only fix I have seen with this involve port forwarding the call of duty
    ports.TCP ports - 53, 80, 3074 UDP ports - 53, 88, 500, 3074, 3075, 3544, 4500 another option you might double check instead of port forwarding would be to make sure your router is set to UPnP and the Xbox would be able to request the ports itself. I think
    the only extra port past the Xbox ports is the UPD 3075 so if you still have the port forwarding set up you could just add the one.
