So last night my viewers forced me off Destiny to play this because they've been waiting for me to get back on it and have been hating my Destiny grind, haha, but I'm so glad I did because it was awesome fun. I got the achievement for the room full of cucumbers,
when it popped I actually lol'd. Also I stumbled across the penguin and carried him through the level to his destination, we named him Prince Fredward Porselsnof, haha it made the stream really fun for everyone.

@Genchy - That doesn't sound good about the abrupt ending because multiple people on stream have said the same thing, the DLC coming out this month makes me think that maybe that should have been included the in full game. Still, this game does wreak of
quality and it's hard not be impressed for me anyway.

 

Hmm, a good thing I made a hard save just after I completed The Last Harvest sidequest! Since this occurred in the third act, it wouldn't take too much to replay my 'endgame' and change the outcome! Plus, I shall definitely check out the requirements for
finding this mysterious PENGUIN, and aim to complete that too!

@Genchy: Maybe I missed something or forgot (since I've played *so* many games since 2011), but I didn't recognize any of those people at the table during the cutscene! Except for one person, who shall remain nameless because I just met her during MD, and
don't wanna spoil it for peeps!

 

@ Digital to be honest I was left feeling like the game had just started properly when it ended, most of the game time is side missions and the actual core missions only total 5 including the tutorial, we only see the main enemy twice in the whole game
and second time is the finale, I think they have decided to milk AJ for all he's worth with setting up for a sequel.

I do think the level design on this is lazy compared to HR, all the levels in MD are straight forward avoid/fight the cards with a few cameras and the odd stationary laser grid, few turrets and a coupe of sentry bots. Nothing compared to the corporate
HQ's like Versalifee and Picus with the corporate security or the gang hideouts in HR which had more depth and were a combination of guards,,bots and security to bypass/fight

On another note game is so much more fun second time around, instead of going to Voller I went straight to the Casino this time dropped into the sewers and entered through the back door and took out one guy to nick the calibrator so I already had it when
Voller mentioned it, popped the time traveller achievement. All the route finding in the first play through pays off. Although I cant see me getting as many run through's as HR.

 

Did the Golden Penguin cheevo last night, that's nuts!!

 

So as the game has "New Game Plus" mode allowing you to re-play with all the powerups you gained in your first playthrough how keen are those of you who've finished it to jump back in and have a go with all that topped up hardware?

Though understandably, if you only play one game at a time and you've just finished it you might not be in a huge rush to get back into it.

 

@Azrael: If it weren't for the fact that my gaming calendar is slightly full (to overflowing) at this time of year, I'd definitely consider another replay. You get another 30G to max out Adam's augments, and I'm *so* tempted to keep playing for that privilege
alone. I've rewound progress to the game's final mission and am about to snap up a missed cheevo, which then brings me back to square one (or NG+).

At this point, I'm rather comfortable with the game's mechanics and could certainly 'mop up' (a la Genchy, Digital etc), but since I'm officially settling into ReCore mode, there's only time enough to play the DLC episode, Desperate Measures, before hopefully
finishing up Mirror's Edge Catalyst. Forza Horizon 3 is next, followed by Mafia III and Gears 4. Great time to be a gamer!

 

Ive jumped straight back in NG+ and loving it....

@Bluswirl there's a couple of cheevos you can mop if you play the end again, there ones for doing Victor a certain way....although it is a lethal option, I will be taking it this time!

Im actually incredibly surprised how much I missed on my first run through. One of the top games this gen but still not as good as HR in my view.

 

Hi Genchy! Well, that's me finished @58 hours on the OVERCLOCK

My achievement status is now sitting at 50%, so I'm more than happy to leave it there. Just cleaned up with six final cheevos (worth 110G), including Jack of all Augments - meaning that I have 4 Praxis kits in reserve and absolutely *no* use for them in
NG+. Tried Desperate Measures and it's miserable! Why? Because it echoes the initial reset phase when Adam's augments are taken away and you're given 15 Praxis kits to play a separate mission.

Am guessing that Jensen's Stories will become a depository for missions that have been left on the cutting room floor, so no great loss. Still, I've had my money's worth and you can't say fairer than that.

 

Just beat it. Got the best ending.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. I somehow got the "Pacifist" achievement.

Now that's what I like to see. People getting rewarded for ENJOYING the game, and finding there *is* light at the end of the tunnel(-vision). Having sat through the laborious end credits TWICE, I now realize the folks sat round the table were in fact the
same ones who opened the game - *who* they were I cannot tell you, although I'm sure somebody's been taking notes.

Congrats on the Pacifist achievement, but it suddenly dawned on me I could've nabbed a cool 90G as well, had I not eaten my brains for breakfast and chosen LETHAL over non-lethal loadout in the tutorial mission. I kinda knew that a Deus Ex game would reward
brains over brawn, but since opting for the harder difficulty (not knowing what dangers or bosses lay ahead), I was simply playing it safe - although I needn't have worried, as the enemies were a cakewalk (sigh).

Attempting a run at NG+, I kinda wasn't motivated to keep going, to keep jumping through hoops a second time when I'd already searched high and low - still coming up short of *all* 71 eBooks! That sucks hard, because I certainly took pride in sneaking, peeking
and hacking things. It's entirely possible I'll return to the game once all the season pass content has dropped, but by that time we're seriously approaching a new dawn of Andromeda (winks).

Give Me Deus Ex? Umm, Give Me A Break!
