Deus ex mankind divided

I just saw that this got leaked the other day and then saw the trailer for it. Being a huge fan of deus ex human revolution words cannot describe how excited I am about this game. Some of the augmentations they show
in the video look sick. How do you guys feel about this game are you excited about it did you like human revolution?

As said in the Xbox One GD thread, super excited for this and thought human revolution was one of the best games last generation. I eagerly await to play as Jensen again, I wonder if they will get the same voice actor?

I also hope that the environments have the same feeling, I just really loved them in human revolution for some reason.

 

if half the stuff they showed in the trailer are real, should make for some pretty interesting gameplay. teleportation, hand cannon/taser, maybe some kind of shield?

i wonder if we'll move further into the future of augments, maybe hear about nano-augments from the original games? i think the protagonist of deus ex should be born around the time of this game.

 

Looks pretty awesome, never got around to playing the other Deux Ex game on the 360.

 

Yeah it looks pretty legit. I still need to full on play through Human Revolution, and I think I'll try to accomplish that this weekend sometime.

 

Had fun with the first one, was one of the first shooters to make me " think" what I was doing or going to do. Not checked the new trailer out yet.going to check it out now... Thanks for the heads up.

 

i hope you can take down bosses with non lethal weapons...that was the worst part of hr, being forced to use guns during the boss fights, which either meant having to haul around a giant mostly useless cannon and its equally large ammo packs throughout the
game or pick up a crappy rifle and whatever bullets you managed to scrounge and hope it's enough right before the showdown.

i love the inventory system, it absolutely must return.

 

I never got around to the Deus Ex games. I always thought that they looked cool. I love Stealth games, as they are a dying breed. The trailer for Mankind Divided may have put me over

 

OMG! Every, single, person in this thread that said they never got around to playing Human Revolution, do yourself a favour (if you still have a last gen console) and go back and play it!

The beautiful thing about Human Rev is you can always stealth, sometimes it looks like you can't, but you're not looking hard enough!

 

I bought Human Revolution twice on the 360 and the PC. I will definitely buy for the One.

 

DE:HR was an amazing game.

The only thing I want from the sequel is more of a reason to want to play through it all again. I loved DE:HR and even though I've had the 100% on multiple platforms, I felt it needed a stronger reason to reply the game other than one playthrough all about
guns and the other all about stealth.

Some side missions had potential to give consequences for your actions, but never quite did anything with it. I hope they build on that for the sequel.

So far this is only the second game that wants me to buy the next gen console.

I agree, the choices were rather inconsequential. If anything the "choices" either made the game much easier, or gave you a minor annoyance.
