Deus Ex Human Revolution Director's Cut WILL NOT Install Disc 2

Now that Deus Ex Human Revolution Director's Cut is available via backwards compatibility I decided to install it. The first disc downloaded a 12GB update and the 2nd disc fails stating the following:

This game is not playable here

For a list of Xbox 360 games playable on Xbox One, go to xbox.com/BackCompat. (0x8082000c)

Now the thing is the 2nd disc has all missions after the prologue, so it's needed.

Can't download Deus ex Human revolution Director's cut

The Director's Cut addition to Deus Ex: Human Revolution is currently only available with the physical disc. You cannot purchase or download it digitally.

Unable to play Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is now on the backwards compatibility list, but Director's Cut edition doesn't work for me. I'm getting error 0x8082000c.

Tried to hard reboot console, it didn't help.

Game is on physical disc.

Is there any way to run the game?

 

Hi when you put a backwards compatible game disc in the Xbox One the console it then downloads the complete game from Xbox Live you will probably find you do not need to use the second disc.

Please try and run the game with the first disc in the console and you should be able to play the game without any issues.

 

Ok when it said "download" I assumed it meant that it would install, like it does with any game. I didn't think it actually meant that it would download it from the store, as you've mentioned.

Also, can the games be streamed? or is it only Xbox One games that can be streamed from the console?

 

Hi I think you can still use the game streaming feature when playing backwards compatible games.
